I went on one of the city-data boards and one of the women was complaining that higher quality women have to get with ugly guys and men in general have the pick of whatever they want. The closes you'll get inside the Beltway and on the right side of the Potomac (you don't want to live in VA - its a pain in the ass getting across the bridges during rush hour and metro penetration is limited) is Silver Spring. I suppose you could live in one of the NoVa mexican ghettos, but they won't be anywhere near a metro. Silver Spring is the way to go. You might even be able to get an efficiency for that price.

Chevy Chase is one of the wealthiest zip codes ON THE PLANET. They don't rent rooms. Try Silverspring. Its full of illegals, so they must rent rooms there, and its on the Redline, which will get you reasonably close to teh Mall.
