It's a new paradigm, and everybody who doesn't buy, now, will be priced out forever. Anybody who does buy will be rewarded with a lifetime of riches, as their property will continue its 30% yearly price increase.
Renters, and anybody born in a future generation, will not be able to afford a $15,000,000 starter home in 15 years. They will live in tent cities, and Hondas.
This asset bubble is different than all of the others - it will never slow down, or pop. The gains are permanent.

What would be cool is if you came here semi regularly and walked us through the process. Let me know if anything I've said is wrong or inaccurate. I'd really like to know how it all shakes out for you.
Too bad. Say buh bye to that. Now you will be renting... if you can find a landlord that won't run a credit check which is HARD. It's a fucked up place to be. I'm definitely not making light of your situation. The oddity of the process is that your BK attorney might tell you to go run up a bunch of consumer debt or buy a car to get your debt to income ratio up. Heaven help you if you have a nice income coming in, because you might have problems qualifying for a full BK.
More bullshit charges, that's what. THey got me with a data charge. I just went ahead and paid it. My reasoning is that I was going to dump the fuck out of them and never go back. It's best to abstain for any service out there and be a huge chiseller your entire life. That's the only way.
All that for 6 months of house. You could have lived in a hotel for less than you are going to lose. You could have lived in a big used RV for that amount of time.
That's not necessarily true, it depends on your state. You need to check if your state is a deficiency judgment state. Business friendly states usually are, and they might -- MIGHT -- come after you for the difference. If you are worthless anyway, you probably have nothing to worry about. But, if you go deficient on the taxes, you might also get your bankroll garnished. There are some mines to jump over.
I want to hear stories where some precious whiteys acted all friendly and they were in turn insulted, assaulted, laughed at, abused or somehow mistreated. TIA.
They transported a shit load of people into Tucson (good liberal town that it is) just so they could fawn on them, give them stuff, and help them double dip on benefits. I think most of them got on some sort of payroll, and promptly left.
While this was all going down, I predicted that the media would make this into the crime of the millenium against black people, that there would be an outpouring of help, and that nothing would be good enough. It turns out that I was right, and I guarantee that five years from now, they will still be talking about the "racist lack of support" endured by the underprivileged, long-suffering and beautiful people of NOLA.
