The current rate is $4000 per pound. I think that when one of the strains I have going comes to yield, I'm going to ask $4500. It's rare, really strong and the buds are tight, sticky and full of resin. All they can say is no, right?

600-watt air-cooled lights are about $400 each. CAN-100 filter/fans are $800.

Light air-circ fans are about $100 each.

A 600-watt light will cover about a 4x4' area. Add additional lights as needed and don't try to skimp.

Your final yield is directly affected by the lumens you are providing to your plants.


My friends all know I grow. I'll talk growing to anybody that's interested. But there are only 3 people who know where I live, one of which lives out of state.

Do you have a light setup and a fan? I use a combo, but just use a large shop light. Not enough power to emulate the sun.

I have more than one room. Each one has multiple 600-watt HPS air-cooled lights with 400 CFM exhaust fans per two lights.

I also have CAN-100 filters/fans in each room, exhausting to the outdoors.


I've got some environmental control switches on the wish list for after my next harvest. They turn on exhaust fans, heaters/ac units, humidifiers, etc on as per pre-determined settings. If my room gets too humid, the exhaust fan comes on. If it gets too warm, the a/c comes on.

All I'll have to do then is water.
