I like this scenario. A company issues a mobile device that is a computer/cell phone, and the display devices are smart (CPU + linux kernel) such that they can offload some processing tasks.

I think that the current VOIP phones that are in most offices could become extinct if they don't integrate with mobile technology. Why do I have two phone numbers for my office (mobile and office)? I should be able to drop my mobile phone in a desktop dock and then I get VOIP connection, as soon as I undock, then it goes VOIP WLAN, and as soon as it sees I'm nearing the end of the WLAN connection, it goes VOIP 3G.

when you look at the larger picture, apple isn't putting iPhone OS on anything but its own hardware. I don't see how this can be advantageous against things like Symbian and in the future windows Mobile or even Android. When it comes down to money, apple is its own niche by limiting it to its own hardware. the mobile market is so much bigger than them.

If any one of them had been innocent, a clear story about what happened should have emerged. Instead we had supposition and inference.

In the end I think the Italian judges and jurors just summed up by thinking: OK this girl is dead, three peole were involved, none has a credible and consistent alibi, therefore let's convict them all. If any one wants to grass up the others, that'll come out in the appeal.
