She was just remarking how the blown call during the perfect game of the Tigers last night was no big deal and does not understand the problem since perfect games are so frequent. Then she said that since everyone hugged at the end of the game, that it was better than making the right call.
There was some very uncomfortable moments after that.
Escorted out. That is standard procedure and covers everyones ass. Sure it would be nice to have a going away party or whatever but a clean chop on the block is the best thing to do.
You watch too many movies. The Luftwaffe never attacked intact combat boxes of B-17s en masse or attacked squadrons of escort fighters. The Luftwaffe just ignored all that and focused on straggler Forts, like lions pick out a wildabeast.
All the gun camera footage you will ever see of Luftwaffe aircraft attacking B-17s, feature pre-crippled aircraft. The gunners are never firing back at the fighters. They are either bailed out or dead from flak.
Rarely would true dogfights between fighters start up. The Luftwaffe was only after the bombers. Shooting down escorts was a waste of time.
Say what you fucking want about the P47. But the P51 was really limited to alot of roles and really did not contribute as much as the P47 did in the war.
No. The P-47 could fly escort to Berlin. They did so in March of 1944 for the first time. The P-47 was the fastest US fighter in the war and the best at high altitude. Unless hit by exploding shells, it could really not be touched by fucking Focke Wulfs.
Mustangs were poor strafers. One bullet and the engine was fucked due to the cooling system. Lotta Mustang pilots became POWs.
Thunderbolts were in the heavy shit because they were such good strafers and flew alot of CAS. The .50 caliber machine guns they used have nearly the same rate of combined firepower as a contemporary gatling gun. They just spewed lead like fucking crazy.
Plus they could fly all the way to Berlin. Few other fighters could do that.
Is this BPs or Transoceans fault? It belongs to Transocean and has Transocean employees running the thing. If someone was drilling for natural gas on a farmer's land and there was a fuck up, would you blame the farmer?
Of course the technology is available. But it is only used against law abiding Americans. If you want to cheat the system and use false documents you can.
Hell, people were getting fake home loans with fake IDs a few years ago.
Court? What court? No. You don't understand. They want blanket immunity. For them, it is simply a lack of paperwork. When they get legal status, they will demand back SSI.
Only time they get caught is when they work for a company that is also a federal contractor.
The HR lady in a regular company is not going to check that shit. She simply covers her ass and makes copies, if ICE shows up she shows them copies of the IDs and explains that they looked legit to her. The company does not get in trouble.
In Texas, it started with roofers and has now moved into just about every unlicensed trade like brick laying, concrete paving, pad prep and even some plumbing. Americans still hold plumbing, electrical, HVAC jobs because in Texas, those require licenses which are regulated strictly.
Illegal aliens just cheat and illegally obtain ID's, use other peoples SSNs etc. If illegals are given legal status, they will all demand for their fake SSI to be transferred over to their new names.
A renewed Korean War would last 12 hours or so. Use of nuclear weapons has already been authorized in the plan if SK is invaded. Not sure what would be nuked but North Korea would be nuked for sure.
USAF A-10 pilots would only last 30 seconds, M1 Abrams crews would last long enough to fire 3 rounds after contact with the enemy.
So, 45 minutes is a long time!
I would of had on me personally 40 pounds of RDX and 400 yards of det cord. I could have made a real mess with that if given some time to monkey wrench shit. Really all I needed was alot of det cord, the RDX is not as spectacular as a tool, like good old det cord is.
My survival during a NK invasion was calculated at 45 minutes. We had really good fighting positions but they defended a critical draw that NK tanks would need to use to get to Seoul. It directly faced the Imjin River where we would basically defend a ford in the river. Would have been an awesome wholesale holocaust slaughterfest because the NK engineers would need to build a bridge across the river. We had every kind of weapon at our disposal, short of flamethrowers. I had a SAW back then, but our fighting position had 2 M2 mounts, space for 3 anti tank rocket positions, which could fire 30-40 rockets we guessed.
We would have been wiped out in very short order though by some mysterious force. Probably hidden artillery of some kind. Just turned to dust by that.
