I love that picture because there is so much going on. Everyone knows its wrong. Everyone knows they are gonna get in trouble. But I like the looks on their faces. Especially the dude with his arm up, like he is watching live performance art. Or the chubby dude who is just stone cold faced, so overcome with hormones, he will need 100 jack off sessions to compute all of it.

Ceaser said:Even LiPo batteries dont make that big of fire. Let it burn. If its inside, Pouring water on it would help to keep it from burning much plastic and whatever its on. Its not that bad.

I think that is what was burning. My clothes smell like burned plastic, my hair and hands too.

Fire extinguishers won't work on them. You have to use dry sand or table salt. That's why I was worried about using the wet sand. Seemed to stop the smoking.

Well, you sure can't put it in the trash for the trash man. Can't keep them around either, like a fucking dud hand grenade.

This was for a flashlight or something. Not quite sure.

Ceaser said:You mean Lithium polymer?

I'm not sure. It's 4 AA or 4 AAA batteries that are heat shrunk together on a plastic carrier. The heat wrap obscured what they looked like. But they were smoking and shit. White smoke. He said it actually caught on fire with flames for a second.

Caught on fire and shit. I went to check it out, he wanted some of our playground sandbox sand to cover it with. Fuck!

It was still smoking when I got there and I had a bucket of sand but it was wet. It has rained here 5 inches in the last couple of days.

Water and the batteries creates hydrogen and will really burn. He had a hose on them anyway since they were still smoking. Fuck! Fuck! We put the battery pack in the sand and put it out in his driveway.

What next? How do you dispose of batteries like that? I told him to chunk the batteries into a pond or something. Not sure what else he could do.

The F-14 was really just a platform for the Phoenix. The Iranian Phoenix missiles have not worked in decades since they need constant battery changes. The persians tried to modify the F-14s but they are basically useless for their designed role.

Tons of fun too, since everything online is modular and can be swapped out like legos. Fun to shoot also. Fun to scare people with. It's black. Black is scary!

If you look on the Equipment Exchange, people dump their 50's, lock stock and barrel. Everything to reload too. If you catch it at the right time, their are deals to be had.

I like 20" A2 clones more than anything. Clean lines and a KISS principle with iron sights.

Nope. Have not gotten into 308 because of all the new shit, lowers and shit that does not transition. I don't shoot as much as some people so I can justify purchasing a rarer 6.8 if I wanted.

You're welcumb.......Morons.

FN barrels are really the best you can get unless you go total custom. Palmetto State makes a good product.

I have a partially assembled Larue that I have not got around to finishing.

Read the link. It's simple. Many dickwads get into ARs because they are so easy to build. Easier than putting together a desktop computer. Lots of range dorks "mod" their shit too much. Enjoy.

Probably a Del-Ton. You can buy the uppers online without any need for background checks. The "lower" is considered the "firearm" by the ATF, once you have the lower you are good to go.

Polymer lowers are great. They are getting more and more popular.

$113 shipped for a complete lower. Slap an upper on and a magazine and you are ready to rock.

My FFL only charges 10 bucks for transfers!

. said:Is there any money in selling guns?

Yes, right now you can sell guns for about what you purchase them for. Buy one, use it, sell it 6 months later.

Fuckload of laws though. You will get in serious trouble being an unlicensed gun dealer. You can only break even, if you want to stay within the guidelines and cannot be in it to make a profit.

The .50 Beowulf is more of a breaching round. They sell the rounds at Cabelas. I have seen them there. You could get a 458 SOCOM which has quite a kick too.

You can put a .50 caliber BMG round upper onto an AR lower. The round will not feed but you can use the AR trigger and hammer. I have seen a Youtube video of it on a Plum Crazy lower. So it must be true! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90gSOiJ8iyU

.308 will go right through walls. It will go right through anything. It is so fucking awesome that it even scares me a little. It will go through brick walls.

And without a class III license, you need to buy an upper that has a 14.5 inch barrel or longer, including any kind of flash suppressor.

The only thing you have to buy either in person or from your FFL is the lower. The upper can be purchased online without ID.
