I have a number of AR lowers and uppers, .45, 9mm, .40, .44 caliber pistols Remington 700 in two calibers, 20 gauge, 12 gauge, 28 gauge shotguns, couple .22 rifles and a pistol. Most of the ammo is 5.56 or pistol ammo. It's really not that much. I buy in bulk when Cabelas or Bass Pro runs a sale. Much of it is Federal or Winchester white box. Most of the 5.56 are plain vanilla Olin reject ammo in white box. I never buy Russian ammo, steel or polymer coated. I only buy brass. Period. I draw a line at being cheap by staying away from that Tula shit.
I have a large fireproof gun safe, with plenty of room. I keep the ammo in cans with padlocks on them.
I don't own any really nice rifles or pistols with fancy furniture. All my stuff is more rough and tumble.
I need to buy a .308, real soon. I don't have one and cannot use a regular AR lower with a .308 upper. .308, you can shoot through brick walls with one.
I don't even know how many firearms I have. Bought a new one on MLK Day. I'm ready though. I have been stockpiling ammo too. I might be up to 10,000 or 15,000 rounds. Really not that much once you break it down by caliber.
Welders rent motel rooms, buy all their food at fast food places, buy lots of gasoline for their trucks and spend tons of money on booze and hookers. They are great for any town. Amazed that someone would not want them in your city. They are always too tired to start trouble but they spend tons of cash.
Newer Jeep Wranglers still get better gas mileage with a manual vs an automatic. But, I think if you were going to rock crawl in a Wrangler, you would want an automatic these days since you can manipulate the brakes and gas at the same time rather than using one foot for the clutch.
I like driving stick shift because it's a ton of fun and you don't need to use the brakes much driving around if you are thinking ahead.
I know at least half a dozen chicks from high school that are childless and live at home with a parent. I think, if I remember their parents were all divorced, so they live with a parent in a house somewhere.
If you were born in the 70s, good chance more than half your friends had divorced parents. Weird trend. I don't see that happening much with people my age as adults with kids.

If you have a little kid, you can get away with playing in a sandbox, going to the zoo, eating ice cream, playing with toys. No kids? You are weird. But with a kid along you can play with all the toys you want.
Yeah, Dallas gets some hot chicks but we also get re-treads from bigger cities like LA or NYC, where they failed as party chicks or were run out of town as damaged goods. So, they come to Dallas and look down on everyone since they are former NYC or LA residents. Truth is, they could not hack it there and are fleeing to Dallas to start over.
The best is when you have small children, toddlers. White children are getting rare here in Dallas and I use mine as weapons of mass destruction on women. Childless women in their 30s see my kids and I know their wombs weep for what they will never have. I see chicks that are childless that I knew from college or when I was single. I think they go home and cry when they see my kids. Serious.
