You ever get married? A lot of the women I dated in my 20's are fat and haggard now. Not that I will still have my looks forever. If a chick is cool and chill, I don't care what she looks like. Trouble is, I haven't found many.
A large portion of the population is worthless, male or female.
The problem is that it's not necessarily easy to discern which are worthy, particularly by the corrupt class system. There's a destitute garbage picker who started scribbling his mathematical ideas on scraps of waste paper and he eventually sent his scribblings to a top mathematician at Cambridge England. He got recognized as a great creative mathematician. There's swarms of assholes in $800 Hugo Boss shoes and Zegna suits that are spineless stupid herd following drones not even worth a bucket of cold piss. You try and sort them out.

- "If he is over 40, he has been either married or in a long-term relationship"
(There apparently is a (mis?)conception out there that guys who have passed the 40 mark and have never given either marriage or a live-in arrangement a try are damaged goods)

Those sad women who have that criterion are automatically tagged as "worthless". No sane woman thinks like this, and desperate women using a dating service should never think like this, but the entitled princess mentality from their college years pervades.

The answer is simple. Either avoid marriage altogether, or do what I did: I married my wife back when I was 38 and she was 24. Sure, perhaps at the time it was seen as a bit 'extreme', but I gotta say: Now that I am in my 50s, I look around at women in my age cohort and I THANK MY YOUNGER SELF. Has anyone, ever, anywhere, seen an attractive 50-something woman? It's like 1 out of 100. When I look on facebook, or look at the website for my HS 30 year reunion, the women who are still alive look TERRIBLE. ALL fat, ALL "haggard".
And me: My wife is still in her 30s
We cranked out our kid before I turned 40, and he entered HS (9th grade) last week. So in 4 years I'll be in my late 50s, with my 40-something wife, with the kid out of the house. She had the kid young enough to get her body back (bucking the recent trend of women pumping out autistic children in their 40s).

Good fucking thread, guys. I'm only 20 and I'm definitely taking some of this into consideration. You guys have some great advice at times.
You are a better man than I. As I grow older, I see more of the hype society sells us, eg, "did you get any?" or "is she good in bed?".
But if you want to be taken seriously in this society (for instance if you want to climb the corporate ladder), you cannot be a single male; people think that you are weird or that something is wrong with you.
Being single in society is seen as a character defect.
Who cares? That whole world is slowly dismantling itself...it's a game of musical chairs with everything being sent overseas and fewer and fewer spots left for a sort of lucky few. If you're going to survive this shit you're going to have to think out a whole new system of living and the old 50's 60's lifestyle is going to have to be dispensed with. It's just not viable any longer.

Who would marry a chick they met back in college? A woman you met back when she was in her phase of drinking until blacking out, fucking random guys, experimenting with bisexuality... Why???!!!

Not a lot of people can pull that off. Your recommendation is therefore a FAIL
