I had a bunch of high value orders to send out this morning so I took them to the PO. I got there around 9am and there were about a dozen people in line with nobody working the counters. Finally, an old woman appears and I recognize her as being deadly slow. In the past, I saw that many packages were piled up at the left station so I just mine there. They were all prepaid and ready to go.
Now I am checking the tracking status and none of those big dollar packages have been acknowledged while the rest of the smaller packages I sent through the package slot have all been updated and on their way.
DAMN IT. I think I lost about a month's profit right there.
I'm about 2 months into the business and just had my first $5,000 week. So much for that. I worry more about my reputation as being a fucking flake on top of the fact I have to refund all these orders. fuck.
if you send an envelope or package in the same county with the return address to be the addressee instead of the sender, it will get there without postage. You have to go to one of them anonymous mailboxes by a post office. I tried it a few times but only with letters, it worked.
The issue is you have to hand-deliver all packages over 13 oz to a postal worker at a post office. They're worried about fucking Al Kuada sending bombs via Priority Mail.
I have absolutely no recourse here. My packages are gone? Fuck me. That's all.
Dayumb son. That's business too, nobody gives a shit about any story. They just want their gifts that they paid for.
The alafaya post office in Orlando had machines that you put your packages on, pay with debit card, get the sticker and then a drop box for stuff because the lines were always ridiculously long. But that was the only post office I saw in Orlando with those machines. It was perfect because you could go in at 2am and send out a package.

I feel like I want to go throw cinder blocks into that place. There'll be security footage of that, certainly. Where my packages went? probably not.
I used to use that machine but then I bought a printer and now do it all at home. Either way, packages over 13 oz are prohibited from that drop box. I've put big orders in there before but this time I had quite a few so I thought I'd follow the rules. Yeah, fuck me.
Ahh, okay, I understand. Damn, I wouldn't trust that. I wouldn't walk out of a post office without some kind of proof that I just dropped them off. Because the moment the package leaves my hands it's out of my control. I want to be able to say to the destination "Look, I dropped it off, that's where my responsibility ends".
I don't live around lots of scumbags. It's a pretty high-end, White, part of town. I've seen other people leave lots of packages there before, obviously sales from their company.
Lesson learned, big time. I am going to cancel my PO box at this place and go to the next one, only a little further away. In my experience, they only have 2 sassy negro women and 1 old white woman manning the registers anyway and the line is ALWAYS out the door.
Have you returned to the post office since you noticed the problem? Maybe they shipped the smaller ones because they were faster and the big ones are in a pile in a corner.
All the other ones were checked in this morning. The important ones remain unaccounted for. I will definitely be there tomorrow to follow-up. God help me.

I feel like I'm going to be sick. I hope I'm good and hungover and bitter as fuck for my little meeting with my local postmaster tomorrow. I hope i have to call dasbut for bail money.
I KNOW THIS NOW! It seemed like it was a common practice there and the deathly slow worker would fucking appreciate not having to deal with me and my abundance of big ass packages.
So you're going to compound one irrational, emotional decision with another? How do you think that'll work out for you? If you're just going to throw money away, will you send me some?
