The origins of this cult under the leadership of the Rev. Moses Berg, in the USA, are well documented. There is little to say except that many sources confirm that he was a rabid predatory paedophile. The mantle of fundamentalist Christianity concealed dark secrets of incest, cruelty, child sex, and blackmail, exactly as found in the splinter-group founded by ready recruits Chris and Clare Godson and now to be found in Benevent l’Abbaye. The cult has changed its name frequently and re-packaged its formula of gaining new converts.
The Godsons learnt their trade in the wealthy shopping malls of the USA where they would smilingly go up to likely targets, mostly vulnerable pensioners, and fleece them of substantial sums for “the work of the Lord!”
“The work of the Lord” included frequent trips to Thailand and Cambodia where the cult took an interest in rescuing young vulnerable girls (5yo to 14yo) providing them with a simple wholesome diet, a simple littlebed, and a genuine sex-tourist (35yo to 65yo) to share the bed with………………………………………………………. Little girls failing to earn their keep with enthusiasm were quickly tipped back on to the streets.
The “Thailand” period of the Godsons is well documented including Chris Godson making it back home after a particulary bad bout of (STD).
The core cult in the USA started to be investigated and prosecuted for paedophile activities. And, at this time the Godsons miraculously turn up in the Republic of Ireland and settle-in very comfortably, as sadly and predictably our country turns a blind eye to depravity and paedophile activity in religious organisations. This is changing!

The Godsons in Ireland quickly turn their thoughts to making a fast buck, as ever, and start to recruit! For a time things blossom and local councillors and Gardai frequent their home taking an improving ”interest” in young girls often found in the Godson household.
Problems surface for the Godsons when a neighbour takes a close and alarmed interest in the suspicious “comings and goings,” and starts to report them to the authorities………………………………..
Shortly, after this neighbour becomes a real nuisance to Chris and Clare Godson, the neighbour dies in a hitherto unexplained road accident that was very inadequately investigated at the time in Ireland. The case has been re-opened since the intense media scrutiny of the “activities” of Chris and Clare Godson.
In 2004 the Godsons miraculously turn up in Benevent l’Abbaye, France, and settle-in comfortably……………………and quickly their thoughts turn to to making a fast buck, as ever, and start to recruit!
Their entrapment adverts and enterprises are given a French flavour! The internet is infested with adverts for their so-called “pilgrim dormitory,” gites and B&B. They site their enterprises smack on an internationally famous pilgrim route to Spain!

They know that pilgrims will be searching for meaning and trying to make sense of their lives, the Godsons like helpful spiders, wait for their prey to need a stop and “hearty breakfast.”
Another little enterprise is shaken out of the tree and advertised as teaching English to “young” French girls! Chris Godson advertises fosse septiques, bogus surveys, plumbing, demolition, renovations all to trap the retired ex-pat community. He quickly learns the trick of escorting his elderly prey to ATMS machines to obtain deposits for materials and work……………………………
The Godson internet presence, however, is their un-doing as Kelleher Newsdesk finds them in Benevent l’Abbaye, France.

They were procuring women to become common prostitutes. They were knowingly living in part on the earnings of prostitution. That was criminal activity. Their attempts to deny this must be dismissed as cant and hypocrisy. To deny that the girls were acting as prostitutes because "we are not charging but we expect people to show their thanks and their appreciation and they ought to give more for love than if we charged them" is an unacceptable form of special pleading.

The brother of a young victim/survivor of this cult contacted us seeking advice.
The young man patiently seeks to help his sister who was repeatedly raped at 14yo by the cult leadership and adherents in Ireland. She is now in her early 20's but still haunted by the sexual violence inflicted on her.................................
We have offered the following advice:
draft, with the aid of a competant and sympathetic solicitor, a sworn statement concerning the sister's experiences;
include as much detail as possible about the identities of the offenders, places used by the cult, and dates;
outline the coercion used by the cult leadership and the role of Clare Godson in the procurement of young girls;
include accurate details/descriptions of the places where the rapes took place and clear information of how she was taken to these places;
include information about the use of drugs and threats by the assailants and any torture used by the cult;
make copies/translations of the sworn statements and post them (registered) to law enforcement agencies in the following jurisdictions, USA, Ireland, France, Cambodia, Thailand, the UK, and Norway.

It is important to understand that the Godsons routinely snuggle/cosy up to the local police or gendarmerie in order to deflect investigation into their sick "activities" so send copies of your sworn statement to the National HQ of each jurisdiction. Do not expect quick results as the Godsons are very cunning in concealing their true nature.
We hope that this Blog: lacreusehostsevilcult.wordpress.com performs the valuable task of protecting people from this pair of rapacious charlatans!
This is an evil child-sex cult that has embedded itself in a sleepy French town. It is just so sad that the pretty town of Benevent l'Abbaye has been marred by this evil couple.

The brother has just sent a follow-up email to us today (02/10/2011) confirming some omissions from his original communication:
his sister (14yo) was threatened with blackmail if she did not follow the leadership's instructions;
the leadership threatened to tell her friends about the fact that she had become an underage prostitute;
the leadership threatened to hurt close family members;
that the sister attempted suicide;
that the brother hopes to arrive in Benevent l'Abbaye and confront his sister's tormentors.
The brother repeats the comment about Chris and Clare Godson: "these are foul and depraved people."

Clare Godson seems to have an instinct for finding vulnerable girls for her cult “meat counter” with pretty little girls shamelessly on display for recruits/converts.
The cult leadership, namely Chris and Clare Godson, remain defiant and delusional claiming that the girls raped in the cult were instigators of the abuse that took place in Ireland. Our victims/survivors were apparently 12-13 years old at the time and provide coherent witness testimony about the evil that befell them! Clare Godson’s standard claim is that the statements are made by people “envious” of her ”spiritual development.” The Godsons are hard-faced exploiters of the vulnerable!

A flood of emails about Chris and Clare Godson have arrived from former associates, work and education friend(?), and people touched by the accounts of abuse suffered by recruits to the Godson Cult!
Ever since the News about the Godson Cult broke our Kelleher Newsdesk email address has received a predictable succession of communications from former associates of Chris and Clare Godson, in work and education, all testifying to their suspicions that both Godsons had “perv” inclinations! One contact, in Ireland, was very puzzled by the stream of teenage girls that seemed “bound” to both Godsons, with no apparent reason………………………….

“The abuse which was at the heart of the original enquiry into this cult was a truly horrendous catalogue of disaster involving young girls from a number of small villages in Ireland who were both abused (physically, sexually and emotionally I believe).
This cult recruited young girls and a number of people, including local Councillors, would take a child out for a day or just a night in order to abuse the girl before returning her to the ****** home.”

Over the previous week we have been overwhelmed by a stack of "howling mob" emails about the unsavoury "activities" of Clare Godson in Ireland..........................we have no intention of giving space to these violent and mindless comments. Mob rule is something we do not condone or encourage. The purpose of our WHISTLEBLOWER Blog (lacreusehostsevilcult.wordpresss.com) is to warn the vulnerable and give them the strength to resist the pressures brought by the Godson couple! That is all we wish for!
Are cults of the Godson type really just covers for kiddie porn and prostitution rings?
Kelleher Newsdesk has been pondering this for months. We at Kelleher Newsdesk have heard so many ritual abuse stories about the Godsons, mostly concentrated on their troubled time in Ireland, and a smaller number relating to their USA period! It makes sense for an organized child porn group to dress up in robes and mumble silly incantations, surrounding themselves with bogus "mystical" paraphernalia to justify/share their love of child molestation!
Kelleher Newsdesk recent discussions with victims: It is was abundantly clear that the victims, children during the period of abuse by the cult leadership, had been exposed to a variety of ideas and experiences and had lived in an environment that had an unhealthy, malignant, violent, sadistic and predatory quality of sexuality.
Our study concluded that women of the Clare Godson type were more likely to abuse with others than alone! They commonly intimidate the victim, and were more likely to threaten to harm the family. The abuse was likely to involve excessive/invasive kissing, digital-anal penetration, insertion of objects into the vagina or anus, forced child-child activity or ritualistic aspects. It would appear that the characteristics of female offenders are dissimilar from those of male offenders in this context, and that female offenders more commonly perpetrate the penetration of orifices with fingers and objects.
Some of the accounts we received highlighted abusive acts of vicious/frenzied slapping of the children involved, inserting pencils and other objects into their vaginas and performing oral sex on them. During these "activities" the perpetrator usually, it is suggested, felt angry, although not always with the victims.

Creuse News and The Bugle are just two of the English language periodicals that regularly give prominent place to Godson adverts with no idea of the “horror” below the surface of the Godson enterprises.
The Colin Batley trial in Swansea shows just how long people of the Godson type can keep going with their depraved lusts/beliefs. Some of their victims had to reach their twenties or early thirties before being able to come forward and denounce the cruel and sick ways of the cult. It takes great courage to reveal how easily one has been drawn into a cult and how easily one surrendered a hold on common sense and decency. Sick people like Chris and Clare Godson know this simple fact and use it to dupe more and more people. They turn vulnerable people into their puppets with an arsenal of mind control methods. And, if necessary they resort to violence and intimidation to keep their victims in order. They cynically take advantage of all who slip into their web. Money is fleeced from the elderly who find themselves drawn into excessive and unnecessary projects. The young are sucked in to do their depraved bidding. The Colin Batley case gives hope that some kind of halt can be brought to this pair!

Manipulation and Deception are tools of the trade to Clare Godson.
Cult recruiters and emotional predators of her type employ manipulation and deception to ensnare their targets. Initially, they hide their true natures and intentions and wear a carefully crafted, too-good-to-be-true persona. They identity the specific needs or desires of their targets and play to them. They learn to pick up on a person’s fears and vulnerabilities and portray [themselves] accordingly.

They have sited their so called “pilgrim dormitory” smack on the route to Compostelle and advertise the B&B on every gullible website they can find.
Just GOOGLE Benevent and Godson and you will be overwhelmed by adverts and little nuggets about their time in the USA, Ireland, Thailand, UK, etc., etc. They are shameless in their persuit of young girls approaching puberty and vulnerable people. We have spoken to young girls shattered and deeply scarred by the abuse they suffered!

Of course those responsible, in this disgusting cult, should be punished, but I’m not a fan of vigilanteism.
It doesn’t help anyone, including one’s raped daughter, to lower oneself to the level of this couple. Our justice system should be able to track serial paedophiles from the USA to Ireland.
Anything else in the form of violence does not produce justice, either in the short run or in the long run.

We have major concerns for young girls in the Benevent l’Abbaye area following all the testimony from victims in the USA and Ireland.
Clare Godson has gone after young underage girls with determination…..
the offer of “pocket money” and “summer holiday employment” being the shameless bait.
The Godsons sit back and watch the girl in question put intolerable pressure on her parents to get a taste of independence by working at the B&B or “pilgrim dormitory.”
Testimony from victims in the USA and Ireland gives the impression that the Godsons are old hands at this type of grooming.
When things turn nasty the girl is so cowed and shamed that it takes some time for her to confide in her parents.
