Indoors? I am trying now with some fancy LED grow lights, but my spinach is turning yellow and brown.

LEDs put off the wrong bandwidth. Really. Look it up.

That's neat. Not many people can say that. I've planted potatoes and was so proud when little spuds popped up :) it's a good feeling

Yes. I wouldn't say proud, but I am really happy when I see the peppers growing.
Doesn't make up for the absence of sex in my life though

I was given a few trays of peppers last spring. I thought they'd be regular green garden peppers, but they grew to be small bright red, hot peppers.
They're harvested, and drying out in a bowl.
What can I do with them?

Is it really much of an accomplishment to get an indoor grow starter set and water it from time to time? Why not rent a plot in a community garden? Maybe you'll even make some friends.

I don't like dried peppers. I just cut mine up and put them in soups.

I planted potatoes, and either the gophers or the wild chickens ate them.
