It's about the land redistribution program in Zimbabwe, where dictator Mugabe tries to kick the white farmers off their land and give it to blacks The blacks cannot farm, they let everything go to ruin. Massive unemployment, food shortages, they drove off the only people who can run a farm.

He's stolen billions in the last 15 years, and destroyed the country while doing so. Zimbabwe used to be the bread basket of Africa, exporting lots of food. They traded that, and the large commercial farms, for small, subsistence farms, and begging countries for food.
He printed tons of money, increasing inflation, and destroying the economy to the point where they couldn't buy the ink for more money. They then issued increasing amounts of promissory notes, increasing inflation exponentially, while limiting the amount of money that people could withdraw.
The middle class was destroyed, and most of the country is equally poor.

OP here. Just switched it off. I agree as a matter of law that the white farmers have the right to their land. And I agree that they are the only ones who know how to farm, and that they are actually better to the local people than the ruling blacks. But Jesus Christ, when you are faced with that much TNB, you should get the fuck out of the country and leave it behind.
It's a MASSIVE error in thinking that afflicts otherwise intelligent people. I'm talking about the projection of one's own morality and worldview upon others in am effort to explain their behavior. It goes like this:
"Yo I be livin in poverty n shit. I ain't got nuthin so imma rob n steal to get dat money. Holla!!!"

"Wow, that poor gentleman must have fallen on hard times. It would take a lot for me to consider theft as a means of survival, therefore he has surely experienced a lot of bad things in life. He needs more social assistance."
