It's fucked but I understand why he did it. Let's put this in terms that you tards will understand. Lets say you live in a european country and it was enslaved by j3ws and they treated you like a 2nd class citizen in your own country. Lets say these j3ws were 2% of the population but they owned 90% of the arable land not through hard work but because Israel set up a homestead policy and gave the conquered land to them. That's what happened to zimbawea, and that's why mugabe wanted all the whites to leave.He fucked up by not teaching the blacks how to farm though.
Also, this has happened in most african countries with large white populations. When mozambique gained independence the dictator gave all the whites 72 hours to leave before they would be shot and the white population went from 25% to .5% in one month. S.Africa's white population went from 50% in the 60s to 9% today while botswana and angolia are white free. Whatever your opinions are about those countries you gotta admit they're good at ridding their countries of people who don't belong there. Europe could learn a thing or two.

It's blood diamonds. Multinational corporations gave Mugabe advanced weapons which he used to take over diamond mines and work with slave labor. That's how he got power and how he's keeping it.
Let me make this clear. Multinational corporation gave Mugabe advanced weapons for the sole purpose of taking over diamond minds, working them with slave labor, and selling the diamonds back to them.
Those white families got along fine with the blacks for centuries. They're leaving now because multinational corporations put the most savage people they could find into power so they could get cheap diamonds and other raw materials.

Did the whites do all the work on the farms themselves? Obviously, they must have employed a large number of blacks? How those workers did not learn farming techniques after working in the farms all those years.
That's like saying that an Indonesia sneaker factory worker should be able to create a global sneaker company, and compete against Nike in the global marketplace.

You're making the assumption that they got the farm land. He gave the farm land to his political backers who then employed their family members and such. Also, most of the farmers and their workers were white. There was pretty strict segregation at the time. It was like two countries one for the blacks and one for the whites that was completely independent from each other. Mugabe is old, he probably has 2-5yrs to live so once he dies reforms will most likely take place to correct his mistakes.

The British media reallly have a hardon against Zimbabwe. This documentary received a bunch of awards and media coverage in the UK.
The white farmers employed hundreds of black farm hands on their farms. Those claiming to be war veterans drove up to the farm, bearing automatic weapons, and claimed the farm for themselves. All the farm hands were fired, driving up unemployment, and starting the decline of the middle class.
Pig ignorant thugs were now in charge of the farms, which were money makers as long as the knowledgeable were running them. It all became a matter of occupying the land.
One farmer put in a drip irrigation system for his orchards. He was growing olives and apples. The trees were all burned in the most primitive slash and burn subsistence farming. In subsistence farming, what you are growing is enough to feed you, so there is no need to employ farm hands.
There is something unfixable about sub-Saharan Africa. The real pity is that the loss of high rates of infant mortality plus a bit of introduced Western tech is going to destroy the wildlife there.
don't compare Zimbabwe with the rest of the continent. 6 out of 10 of the fastest growing countries are in sub-saharan africa. Most of those countries learned from their mistakes of acting like nogs though zimbabwe hasn't.

I was just comparing to what happened in my own homeland. Land was taken away from the Brahmins and given to the farm workers. But since the Brahmins had just collected the produce and never actually did any farming, this was not a problem in keeping the farms running.
