Btw, a couple episodes back, Archie said the words, "The cake is a lie!" I could hardly believe it. It was the one where he was given a surprise 50th birthday party but he was convinced it was only his 49th.

Ahhh, I was waiting for this one. I remember this scene from when I was a kid. Archie is upstairs in Mike's room getting him up to go on a fishing trip and Mike is getting his shoes and socks on. He puts on one left sock and then his left shoe and Archie freaks out. Episode 422.

Well how do you like that. Mike gets a Fellowship, which means another YEAR in school. Poor Archie. And that was the end of season 4.

Season 5 starts with a THREE-PARTER starting with Archie getting laid off and then having to picket with his union. There's no money for food. Spaghetti every night. Louise Jefferson brings them a charity pot of beef stew. Sad times for 704 Howser Street.

You're going to post cock pics in my nice Archie Bunker thread? And you know, I was just formulating some thoughts about how the things going on back then are JUST THE SAME as the shit going on right now. There's some good stuff coming, I promise.
It's kind of a niche thing. You gotta give it a little room to breathe. Not everyone has these episodes at the ready as I do. But some memories will come back for some people, surely. The best I can do is spur those memories on with highlights and details as the series goes on.
