It's not a rant about the app store. Why do you want a monopoly for your product? Apple might design a good device but in reality much of it does can be done by other systems. There's nothing really unique about apple products anymore.

Locking the phones? Come on now jailbreaking a phone is a pretty basic concept that isn't THAT hard to do.

Most music CD's say that copying the music is illegal but how simple is it to rip from a cd at this point?
